Internal and External Energy
Within our form or bodies, energy flows through and interacts with the energy all around us. Healthy, balanced energy is the foundation to a healthy, prosperous life.
When we think about managing energy - we can think about 1. our internal energy, and 2. eternal energy (as perceived by our human form).
Internal Energy
Internal energy is made up of three main energies:
1. Qi or life-force energy: this is the energy that makes up all of life and flows throughout the Universe. This energy connects us to the Universal energy network and the will of nature.
The work here is to gain consciousness of life-force energy, re-connect with it, and learn how to work or flow with it.
2. Shen or spirit/soul energy: this is the energy of your unique soul, the inherent energy that occupies your human form, and will leave the body after its lifecycle. Connecting to this energy guides you with higher intelligence throughout the journey of your life and towards your own evolutionary development and fulfillment.
The work here is to gain consciousness of soul energy, re-connect with it, and learn how to be led or guided by it.
3. Jing or body/genetic/ancestral energy: this energy is the energy you inherent in the body you occupy—your genetic material and the energy passed down from the generations before you. This energy connects you to the energy of your ancestors—the skills and abilities learned as well as the traumas/experiences inherited.
The work here is to heal the energy in your body and the traumas/experiences of your past and in your ancestral line. Doing so allows you to connect with life-force qi energy and soul shen energy.
External Energy
All around us is energy. It just takes shape in different forms. What we see and experience is our unconscious attraction to it it. Like energy attracts like energy.
As human minds and bodies grow more cluttered and detached, so does its environments and experiences. Human minds and bodies full of noise and detached from its true nature will be attracted to chaotic places detached from nature. With it comes a vicious cycle of noise and distraction that only further perpetuates more noise and detachment from their very essence or true nature of energy.
What we have been seeing in the last century is a meteoric rise in environmental and human waste, disease and state of poor health, paralleling the meteoric rise in capitalism. This has created living environments with enormous amounts of energy pollution and states of un-wellness in our society.
What is energy pollution?
- Crowded, dense places with too many people concentrated in one place, with an unbalanced nature to people ratio. E.g. cities, apartment buildings with people stacked on top of each other. Little to no trees and nature. If it is inhabitable for wild animals, then it is not a healthy place to be.
- Excess of radio activity, electronic signals, etc.
- Excess of noise pollution. E.g. construction, drilling, sirens, loud music, etc.
- Excess of light pollution. E.g. artificial lights, screens, etc.
- Excess of air pollution. E.g. toxic off-gassing, smoke, smog, chemical pollutants released into the air, cars, plants and factories, waste.
- Excess of water pollution. E.g. leaching of toxic chemicals and waste into the water supply from plants, factories, processors, agricultural beheamoth farms, commercial boating and fishing.
- Excess of visual waste. E.g. advertising messages, billboards, signs, content, screens, physical garbage and waste on the streets, concrete, aesthetically unpleasing buildings/structures/architecture, etc.
- Excess of emotional pollution. Fear, shame, etc.
- Places with traumatic history or events, unresolved or unacknowledged conflict.
Too much external energy pollution and environmental waste is taxing and degrading to the energy and body. It can contribute to a poor flow of qi to and throughout your body.
What counters energy pollution?
Nature is the purest form of energy manifestation that actually is designed to collectively care for the entire energy network or system. Simply living in places with preserved and protected nature, low development, and therefore less energy pollution will make it easier to manage and care for the health of your energy and body. But we must remember that as nature cares for us, we must do our part to protect and care for nature.
- Forests, Trees, Plants, Flowers, Rain forests
- Oceans, lakes, ponds, rivers
- Wild animals, birds, butterflies
