Internal and External Energy

Within our form or bodies, energy flows through and interacts with the “external” energy all around us. We are always in a constant, dynamic exchange of energy. To help understand the basics of what energy can take shape in, below serves to give a bit more definition to what “internal” energy is, and what “external” energy is.

Internal Energy

Internal energy is made up of three main energies:

1. Qi or life-force energy: the eternal, life-force energy that makes up all of life and flows throughout the Universe. It powers all of life and gives life to form, seen and unseen. We are all connected and bonded by this life-force energy, as one energy network. The overarching will of nature, of the Universal energy network, informs us through this life essence.
2. Shen or soul energy: this is the energy of your soul, a unique frequency shaped by past incarnations, and is what gives you your own expression. This energy informs your unique expression and output, and individual evolutionary development.
3. Jing or body/genetic/ancestral energy: this is the energy of your material body—your DNA/genetic material and essence passed down from the generational forms/bodies that came before yours. This energy holds the culmulative energy of your ancestors, including learned skills and abilities, as well as traumas, survival skills, and learned operating systems and programs.

External Energy

All around us is energy. It just takes shape in different forms, scenarios, experiences, and interactions. What we see and experience is reflective of our unconscious attraction or creation of it.

As human minds, bodies, and energy fields grow more noisy and disconnected, so does its environments and experiences. Noisy and disconnected environments also create noisy and disconnected people. In an overly simplistic comparison, we have energy pollution that is chaotic and draining, and we have energy restoration that is purifying and nourishing.

Energy pollution:
Generally crowded, overly dense places with a very high people to very low nature ratio. Such as overly-populated cities filled with people and concrete stacked on top of one another, and little to no trees and green spaces. If it is inhabitable for wild animals, then it is not a healthy place to be for humans. Too much external energy pollution and environmental waste is taxing and degrading to the energy and body. It can contribute to a poor flow of qi to and throughout your body. This can take the form of:

- Air pollution: e.g. high dust, particles, and debris in air, chemical pollutants, toxic off-gassing, smoke, smog, too much construction, cars, plants and factories, waste, etc.
- Water pollution: e.g. lack of infrastructure for waste management and water filtration, human waste leaching into underground water supply, toxic chemicals and industrial waste leaching into the water supply (such as construction, plants, factories, processors, corporate agro farms, commercial boating and fishing, etc).
- Noise pollution: e.g. construction, drilling, cars, sirens, loud music, industrial manufacturing, etc.
- Radio activity: e.g. wifi, cell towers, satellites, electronic signals, etc.
- Light pollution: e.g. artificial lights, screens, etc.
- Visual waste: e.g. billboards, signs, screens, advertising messages, content, physical garbage and waste on the streets, concrete, aesthetically unpleasing buildings/structures, etc.
- Emotional pollution: e.g. places with a traumatic history, unresolved or unacknowledged conflict, cultures with lots of fear, shame, anger, etc.

Energy Restoration:
Nature is the purest form of energy manifestation that is designed to collectively and energetically care for the entire energy network or system. Simply being in and living in places with preserved and protected nature, low development, and less energy pollution will make it easier to manage and care for the health of your energy and body.
- Mountains, Hills
- Forests, Rain forests, Jungle, Valleys, Fields
- Oceans, lakes, ponds, rivers
- Trees, Plants, Flowers
- Wild animals, birds, butterflies
