Kat Mok is a spiritual-political writer, energy meditation teacher, and brand-communications consultant. Her interests are at the intersection of society-business-politics, and environment-health-evolution.
In her writing and community teachings, she envisions a new way of being — one that is connected to energy, nature and soul, and balanced between feminine/yin and masculine/yang energy — in all that we are and how we relate, live and create in the world. She untangles the belief systems, programming, challenges, and consequences of being a part of an unconscious, unbalanced society—from chronic stress and anxiety to chronic health conditions to global environmental depletion and disease. She aims to equip people with tangible, everyday life skills and exercises to cultivate one’s intuitive muscle and connection to energy and soul, and take responsibility for personal energy hygiene and health for a healthier collective reality. The goal is to teach higher awareness and self-sufficiency for real, long-term regeneration and healing—beyond superficial band-aid products and conventional knowledge. Her focus is on connecting human healing and regeneration, energy health and self-possession, and personal power and purpose, with positive political and societal change for all.
In her branding and communications consulting work, she is focused on initiatives that advocate for the education and evolution of society, and the healing, replenishment and protection of our people and planet. Previously, Kat was a Vice President of Marketing in corporate New York City, working in branding, hospitality, and media. She worked with media companies including MTV Networks, Sony Music Entertainment, Havas Worldwide, Omnicom Group, and News Corp. She envisioned and created new brands and businesses—from media companies to hotels—and launched them to market. She is an expert in business visioning, change management, brand strategy, communications, b2b and b2c sales and marketing, content and creative development.
Kat is a world traveler, nature lover, and a life-long learner. As a constant explorer, she has enjoyed hiking and glacier trekking in Patagonia, cruising the Galapagos, volcano boarding in Nicaragua, trekking across 20+ Mayan archaelogical sites in Mexico, camping in the Lacandon and Amazon, whitewater rafting in Honduras, and climbing Cotapaxi and Ecuadorian volcanoes. She is also a crafts maker and enjoys ancient crafts, art and architecture inspired by nature as expressions of soul and beauty. As a gifted energy channeler, she receives higher knowledge, wisdom and abilities to share with others. She is a reiki-certified, somatic, energy meditation teacher with a background of 20 years of experience in yoga and holistic health and wellbeing, marrying emotional-spiritual-mental-physical health with the root connection to energy. She has taught students from around the world including the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.
