When We Heal and Get Healthy

The point of healing is to of course get yourself healthy. To feel good within yourself and in your life. To feel generally at peace and free within and in life. To feel strong, rooted, and suported by life. To feel the abundance and potentiality of life. To know you are powerful and capable, without the need to cling to anyone or anything. To take responsibility. To feel that no matter what we see happening in the world, we know that we are loved and that we know how to genuinely love and care for ourselves in an emotional and spiritual way, not just in a physical and material way. We tend to old wounds (as long as it takes), heal them, release them, and move on. We tend to ourselves and take time to rest, replenish, reflect, and regenerate in space, silence, and stillness. We nurture ourselves with all that our spirit and bodies require to be strong and healthy. We let our spirit fill our bodies, and our bodies regenerate and free itself of imbalances and disease. We let go of the external noise and focus on what we are here to do that fills our unique hearts and souls with nurturing, meaning, love and joy, and we do it and express it without the need to prove anything. We do it because it is what comes naturally, as if we are designed to. Our soul is in command, our spirit free and at peace, our mind clean and pure, and our body strong and in balance. This is what it means to heal and get healthy.

When we heal and get strong and healthy, then we are also in fighting shape. We are prepared to go to battle for the things, rights, and causes we love and believe in, that are essential to the well-being and health of all. When we get ourselves healthy, we understand what it truly means, we embody it, we fight for it, we protect it fiercely. And that extends to fighting for the health of the system as a whole—humanity, animals, nature, our planet and environmental ecosystem. We fight for our birthright to be nourished, inspired, supported, and surrounded by nature—free and wild, as we understand how it is essential to our health and well-being. We fight for our birthright to live a natural life, not an artificial, oppressed one. We fight for our right to choose, be and express who we naturally are, to have access to essential life-dependent resources and clean food, land, air and water. We fight for our right to create opportunities for ourselves, and to free ourselves from suffering. When we get ourselves healthy, we realize that health is not about consumption or fixing, it’s about purifying, cleansing, and releasing waste. We will eliminate the things that weigh us down, the things that are toxic and are a cancer to our society and the ecosystem as a whole. We will prioritize well-being over greed. We will fight for our collective soul and our natural humanity. We will fight for what is right, what is healthy. When we get healthy, we fight for what is right and healthy, and we will prevail because we know what is possible, and we are proof it is.
